These workshops are taught with a combination of multi-media and hands-on.   Learn the Ingham Method, this method helps the body in a natural way.   You will learn about the 12 meridians and the 5 elements and how they refer to Reflexology.   This method is used primarily for relaxing/ tension.   Doctors agree that over 75% of our health problems can be linked to nervous stress and tension.   Reflexology improves nerve and blood supply and helps nature to normalize.

Massage for People Living with Cancer

Dates: Sept 25-27, 2009

Times: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9:00am to 6:00pm

This workshop includes physiology of cancer; medical considerations related to surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation; treatment of side effects of chemotherapy and radiation; working safely and confidently with cancer patients; and lymph edema risks and precautions.

Oncology Aromatherapy

Date:  September 28, 2009

This 3 hour program will explore the healing qualities of certain essential oils helpful for the physical body with a focus on the oncology populations.  specific oils to be addressed include lavender, peppermint, lemon and others with indications for oncology clients.  We will review historical and current use of essential oils for health care.  Essential oil chemistry, quality standards, safety and research will be discussed especially as they apply to the oncology population.

If you cancel up to 3 weeks prior to the first day of the seminar, $100.00 may be transferred to a different seminar. If you cancel less than 3 weeks prior to the first day of the seminar, $100 is non-refundable and non-transferable.
